The total theme includes a built-in option to easily remove the slugs for the theme’s built-in post types (Staff, Portfolio and Testimonials). This isn’t normally advised as it could create issues with the site (404 errors) but due to the large number of requests I have added the functionality to the theme.
Step 1: Enable The Setting
The first step is to go to the theme panel and simply enable the setting and save.
Step 2: Re-Save Permalink Settings
Now you have to go and re-save your permalinks so it knows to use this new structure.
