The Total theme includes a built-in function so you can easily select your favicons and iPhone (mobile) icons. Simply go to “Theme Panel > Favicons” and click on “upload” next to any setting to upload your custom image.
Note: This functionality was added before WordPress introduced their own Favicon system, so if you prefer to use the WordPress setting in the Customizer under the Site Identity tab, then you disable this feature under the main Theme Panel tab.
