By default the Total theme uses a 600 font weight for all bold text on the site which is slightly lighter then the default 700 value used for “bold” fonts. The bold font weight is primarily used for headings (h1,h2,h3…etc) but is also used in certain cases to emphasized text such as certain WooCommerce labels.
What is font Weight? The font weight property sets how thick or thin characters in text should be displayed where a higher number is thicker
Changing the Default Bold Font Weight
To change the default font weight used for bold text simply go to Appearance > Customize > Typography > General and locate the setting named “Bold Font Weight” which you can then use to set your desired font weight.
